It is just a little bit snug in the middle section. Beautiful dress and the fabric and construction is exquisite.

This was the perfect dress for a black tie wedding. It is meant to be a little short on most people, but on 5'3" me, it was the perfect length hitting just at the ankles (with heels) in the back. Great length if your balance isn't great and you don't want to trip LOL. Beautiful peacock color set off my eyes. Although 16w is not my normal size, I trusted the website measurements and went with it. It fit perfectly out of the bag. Only warning: order early enough that you have time to get it professionally pressed -- it did come wrinkled. Comfortable with and without the 'coverup' earning me many compliments.
